About Us
The Burlington Newcomers Club (BNC) was started in 1967 as a way to help women who were new to Burlington make friends and get to know their community. In that first year, there were 20 members. Many of our original members are still part of the Club.
Since the beginning, we have grown to about 230 members.
BNC is overseen by a Board of Directors who are elected by the members each year. Board members are all volunteers who work co-operatively to ensure that Club members can participate in fun and interesting activities. In addition to the Board, BNC relies on our volunteer convenors who organize the activities. Volunteers are the heart of BNC! All members are asked to consider helping out in a way that suits their skill sets and promotes the goals of the Club.We are an open and welcoming group of women who enjoy laughter, learning and friendship.
We would love to have you join us!

The Burlington Newcomers Club has been most welcoming. Since moving to Burlington I have made many new friends with common interests. They have a wide variety of activities, there really is something for everyone! I recommend joining this group.
